WOMEN IN HIGHER EDUCATION
Here in Afghan Youth Association, we believe in women empowerment through education.  Therefore we raised over £11,000 to fund Jahantaab Ahamadi's education. Jahantaab Ahmadi, a student and an Afghan mother who sat the national University entrance examination while she was nursing a 2 months old baby! Jahantaab's photo went viral, the Afghan Youth Association  (AYA) team saw the need to use whatever resources we have in hand as a youth organisation to help Jahantaab continue her journey.
MENTORING SCHEME FOR STUDENTS
This is an academic platform created by the Afghan Youth Association for those young school and college students who are aiming to pursue higher education to study STEM subjects which are Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or none STEM subject at university.
ONLINE FARSI CLASSES
During Covid-19 lock down, Afghan youth association took the initiative to start virtual Farsi Lessons for adults and kids. we have ran the adults lessons for 2 months and have received a number of positive feedback. The kids lessons still on going and we have received a number of encouragement feedback from the parents. Please contact us for more or interested in joining.
