As we pass each day,
Feeling nostalgic of the olden days
Imprisoned in my own house,
Longing for the feeling of someone’s warmth.
Heartbroken by the news of death tolls
Yet embracing each moment with those we love the most.
Suffocated by the mask that is deemed to save lives.
Fearless doctors and nurses rescuing the innocent.
Short walks are the only times I can really let my wings fly,
Yet we all still have that glimmer of faith,
That last spirit,
That last hope,
That there is a light at the end of the tunnel...
